Flowers

Flowers have been making me very happy lately. The smell, the feel, the simple intricacy of them. They are so grand.

I recently rented a book about gardening in hopes to learn more about them and possibly learn how to keep them alive. My latest attempt to grow a flower was unsuccessful and resulted in sad, wilted flowers.. Or lack thereof. I didn't even get a bud. The poor sunflower I was trying to grow never had a chance. I certainly wish I had my grandma's green thumb. 

I encourage you to pick a few flowers... It's good for the heart.

Sweaters and shorts make me happy :)

Wonderful happy things are happening in my life, school is almost over and then it's summer! Oh boy does that make me happy. Now the weather just needs to get the memo. So for now, shorts and a sweater will do just fine. :)
