New hair!

Do you ever go in to get your hair cut and worry that you wouldn't like it? Well that is exactly how I felt about chopping my hair off. Doing a pixie is a huge difference and I was slightly nervous about it. When I actually got the guts to call and make an appointment I was freaking out everyday until it came. My wonderful friend Bethany was there to encourage me during my appointment and I am so grateful for her! Both her and I were squealing at almost every cut as we watch my hair get shorter and shorter. The poor girl cutting my hair probably didn't know what to do with us. I am beyond pleased with my hair. If you are considering chopping your hair off, go for it! Don't be afraid to do what you want to do. Its hair, it will grow back. Not going to lie, I didn't fall in love with it at first, that happens sometimes, but after messing with it I adore it. Just do it. Chop that hair off and express yourself!

Oh, and Sarah is home from college and I am so happy. We always laugh so hysterically and she is so fun! She is so cute and I love her so much!

Four ingredient sugar scrub

At first I was very skeptical at whether sugar scrubs actually worked.. Then I  started experimenting with them and I must say they really do smooth your skin. I haven't stopped using this scrub since I made it!
What you will need
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup raw sugar
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
An airtight container

Now all you have to do is simply combine all the ingredients.

This is the easiest recipe and is made with common ingredients found in your pantry. What I love about this scrub is the fact that I know everything that goes in it. I have very sensitive skin and it is great not to worry about having a reaction to any harsh chemicals.

After it is all mixed package in an airtight container. I used a small mason jar, but any container should work. Now use your sugar scrub in the shower or just scrub it on your hands, rinse it off, and now you have silky smooth skin.

Enjoy,
Mae

Oh, this weather.

I was attempting to slide down the rail. Didn't work too well.

It was a gorgeous day in Texas, indeed. Wondrous spring break weather. I am just so happy that the cold spree is over, at least I hope. I enjoyed this day with getting frozen yogurt by some adorable apartments and laying out. I would love to live in apartments like that. I am determined to live in a cute little apartment, the outward appearance doesn't necessarily matter to me, just the inside. One day it will happen.
My sister, Hannah, is home for spring break and it is making my days full of joy and more laughter. Sarah, the middle child, is coming home this weekend. The three amigos will be together again. :) Oh my heart is so happy.

Here we go..

Hello there, as you saw in my bio, my name is Megan. My friends have been encouraging me to start my own blog, so here I am, blogging. I needed a way to express myself that was not via Instagram. I'm sure they have gotten tired of seeing my outfits nearly everyday. I am a thoroughly happy person that loves to be fashionable. Simple as that.
I'm so very excited to be starting this blog. Join me for fashion, crafts, food (oh boy do I love food), and little insights to my life. So here we go..
